Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Type your question here...hi i was origanally charged with a 5 yr felony of counterfiet money then it was droped down to larsony under 200 dollars, is that a 93 day misdemeanor? i failed to make it to my psi but make it to my sentencing date, what is the wost case senario for that, will i get a failure to appear? what is the max? since i was origanally charged witha a felony, is it going to be a felony? i have plead no contest to that larsony under 200 dollars because they were trying to say i was involved in other counterfiet money. the judge i have is one of the most strick judges around is this going to be a hole nother charge on top for not making it to my psi and should i go in before my sentencing date and take what is coming?

You got a very good deal. Larceny under $200 is a 93-day misdemeanor. As for missing your PSI interview - you better have a good reason for missing it. I have seen judges put a person in jail just so he/she does not miss the next interview. I have also seen the same type person be released from jail at sentencing. It can get resolved. It's not as bad as you think. But you need to do it right away. The longer you procrastinate, the worse. 248.865.4700 Daniel Hajji
