You question is somewhat ambiguous. Your criminal history doesn't necessarily directly affect your work or employment history, but it can affect you work or employment status. Generally, this becomes an issue when you are applying for a new job or can if you have a right or obligation through your employer to report criminal convictions, arrests, etc. Moreover, missing work or having criminal convictions interfere with work can affect your employment and work history. You may want to rephrase your question, but hopefully that helps.
