Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
violating probation
i live in farmington hills, MI..im 17 years old
so about a month i got caught with 1 cigerette in school. i went to court, paid a fine, and i got community service, and a 2 month probation. today i got the cops called on me by this guy (i got in no trouble for that) and the cops searched me and found black and milds (cigars). they gave me a ticket and i have to appear at court in about a week. Other than that first inccident at school, my records clean. also i was respectful to the cops and gave them no trouble. my question is, am i going to jail? and what will happen? so if you can answer this asap it will help me know what im dealing with, and it will help me sleep at night. thank you.

Re: violating probation
So at age 17 you're on your second criminal offense. This criminal record is with you for the rest of your life.
I recommend that you have an experienced, tough attorney with you in court. Hire the best criminal defense attorney your family can find.
