Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Warent in my household
I have a friend living at my house and just found out they had a warrent for arrest. A officer called my cell phone and asked me if i knew where she was staying and told me he would arrest her and anyone found in his words ''hiding her.'' I'm scared I will be arrested if the police show up at my house. Can I get in trouble for her living at my house?

In essence, yes, you can be violating the law. You should cooperate with the police or risk getting in trouble. What did you tell the officer? contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz

Yes, principally because you lied to the officer which is obstruction of justice and also you are aiding and abbeting a fugitive.
