Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Will the clerks office look to see if there's a no contact order while doing the marriage license and if so will they tell the county the no contact is through about the marriage license application?

Your question isn't really on-topic for the "Criminal law" section because you're asking about what a clerk does in a civil marriage license process, if the clerk checks databases, etc. So you should either resubmit your question to a more on-topic section of LawGuru.com, or call the clerk's office to ask this question (probably without identifying which couple you're asking about). But another step should be taken: the prospective bride needs to seriously re-think her plans altogether. If the relationship was so bad that a "no-contact order" was recently put in place -- and is STILL in place on the courthouse-steps wedding day -- a "until death do we part" promise between this couple is not going to make things better, in my personal opinion. And, the couple's decision to marry does not cancel the judge's no-contact order. The judge could (possibly) still sanction the defendant for violating the order.
