Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I was wondering about a charge I was convicted of 11 years ago, possession of marijuana. The conviction was expunged after I completed 6 months probation. I am now a registered nurse and I am having trouble getting into a hospital. I am concerned that even though this conviction was expunged, it still appears on my background check. I know there are agencies that can view nonpublic records, are hospitals one of them? Is there any way I can have this charge permenantly removed or is it being expunged the best I can do?
