Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

i work at a car dealer and was on a test drive in a customer car. i got pulled over and there was marijuana in the car ,i freaked out never being in trouble and no criminal record and tried to eat the couple pieces that were on the floor the officer seen me chewing it and i was arrested and put in jail. i was never read my rights and i spent over half the day in jail and seen a judge before i got to make a phone call what can i do, my job is on the line based on the decision when i go to court
