Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I work for a lady the past year all of sudden she has pieces of jewelry missing. I have never seen the jewelry didn't know where it was kept. She asked me if I saw it I explained no I don't even know what it looks like. She said OK I have to call police. No one has accused me or filed charges I have yet to speak to an officer. What am I to do

From a legal perspective, I would speak to no one about it any longer. Especially the police. If you get contacted by a detective, hire a local lawyer ASAP and they go over strategy. If you are innocent, they may offer a lie detector test (which you can take privately first to make sure you will pass) and will agree to not charge you if you pass. Gets complex, but just don't talk to anyone but your own hired lawyer. Tim Klisz kliszlaw.com
