my daughter quit her bartending job in the middle of her shift, she did not think to have them count down her draw, two hours latter when they did they called the police and said she had stolen two hundred dollars, then later said one hundred and seventy eight, then two hundred plus, she gave the police a statment saying she did not steal any money, the only thing she left with was her tips , they have no tape, just there say so, the imformation was giving to the court on friday to decide if there is enough effidence to charge her, should we be trying to get her a lawyer, or calling the district attorney to see if they are going to try and arrest her, the police man who called had already said at the place that her felt she must be quilty, the owners he thought were such nice people, this is what he told her, can they actually have a case just because she quit, she had already intended to give them her two week notice that night anyway, she had always come in when she was suppose to, and had even taken her own time to help them do the inside remodeling on the bar before they opened because they were short handed, and many times without pay! Do they have a right to do this without real evidence?
