Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Two years ago I sold my house on land contract. The buyer will be paying for another 6 years. I have pled guilty to a misdemeanor and am ordered to pay restitution of a very large amount ( i expect it to take many years to pay off but WILL pay the monthly payment as ordered by the judge). How does this affect the buyers rights to the property once he has paid it off if the restitution is not paid in full at that time?
