Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Michigan

Condominium problem.

After two car accidents involving my niece in the condominium where I live, the board of director decided to prohibit her from driving in the condominiums street, even though all the damages caused by the accidents has been paid. Below follows the letter I was sent:

Dear Clenio,

The cost to repair the damaged lamp-post has been fared to AAA for insurance re-imbursement to Rivergate Condominium Association. After two incidents of property damage, a request has been made to the vehicle owner prbhibiting the vehicle in question from accessing Rivergate Drive.Althought the vehicle has, generally, been parked across the street at Sam's Club, there have been several reports, by residents, of this vehicle being driven on Rivergate Drive by the female driver. This must stop!

The Board of Directors will be forced to take further action including, but not limited to, assessing fines against your Unit each time this vehicle is reported on Rivergate Drive.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

What can we do?

Re: Condominium problem.

There may be some legal action that you could take on the theory that state law allowing regulation of traffic supercedes the attempt by a private group to regulate traffic. I do not know if this would be successful. It would be an expensive undertaking. It is much cheaper to have your niece park elsewhere.
