Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Michigan

Can an employer treat an exempt employee differently from other exempt employees? I cannot prove discrimination against a protected class; but, can I have different rules and/or policies that other employees of my same wage level and title/poistion have? Is there any recourse for 'unfair' treatment?
