Is it legal to restrict membership in a nonprofit, religious organization to those who are members of churches that subscribe to the confessional standards that are the basis of our organization?

If those churches have policies that result in the exclusion of individuals with immutable characteristics such as race, national origin, intelligence, humanity etc., then restricting your membership requirements to exclude those individuals may be unlawful.
