Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Michigan

Race discrimination against hiring

I have been applying for a position in the local hospital a position that I have been told by the hiring manager that I am well qualified for. However I have not been able to get past the HR department to get to the hiring manager except once when a family friend who was temporarily working in HR passed the application on. At that time I was offered the position but was unable to take it. I was told I was very qualified and he didnt understand why it took so long to get my application. I have applied about 8 times for the same or similar positions and have yet to be chosen when to my surprise a caucasian female with much less experience than me was just chosen in a matter of 2 weeks for the job. What can I do to prove its race discrimination and then what are my options there after?
