Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

6 month delay of service

My son is on a 6 month delay of service for a MIP he got in Apr. He is 17 years old. Is this the same as probation? He just got another MIP on 6/10/08. The court is in Gogebic County. Both MIP's were in MI and we live in WI. So he is facing 2 MIP's. What do you suggest we do to help him?

As a father, I suggest you do nothing and let him figure it out for himself. Better he learn now than later when he has a family to support.

He'll lose his license for a while and maybe do 15 days in jail.
