Judge Redmond is not going to be happy with your brother. Neither is the Secretary of State.
He's looking at probable jail time, community service, more probation, suspended license, $500 fine, about $1150 costs. Mandatory alcohol therapy (.21 is serious).
Hope he didn't get the booze from you.

Hopefully an experienced and aggressive attorney will be able to help your brother out of this mess. Attorney John English has a terrific track record with these cases. He's going to have to fight hard to stay out of jail. Have your brother call Mr. English at

Re: 17yo brother crashed car charged with MIP OWI
It all depends on the court, judge and prosecutor, and whether he is charged as a juvenile or an adult - likely an adult. I strongly suggest he immediately retain a criminal lawyer to have the matter handled properly and get him the best deal possible. If you need a referral, please contact me.
Thanks.
