Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

drugs found in blood

My adult son was pulled over, passed field test, took him in and took a blood test. Came back positive for drugs, not alcohol. What is the legal maximum level allowed in Michigan? He had been taking pain medication at the time.

It depends on the drug. Without more information, this is difficult to answer. If you could call me I likely can answer to your satisfaction.

In Michigan, there is zero tolerance for drugs, i.e there is no maximum. It would be helpful to know what drug (probably Vicodin), whether he had any on his person, and his source.
