It stays on your driving record forever. It usually stays on your insurance for 3 - 5 years.

A conviction for any kind of drunk driving stays on your driving record forever and cannot be expunged.
Insurance companies have their own rules for rating drunk driving risk. 3-5 years is the usual rate penalty.
