I got a DUI ticket 6 years ago in Bloomfield Hills MI, is there a statute of limitations in Michigan for DUI? And if so can you help me.

If the ticket was issued and given to you and you simply ignored it then the statute of limitations may not be the best defense. But there are defenses.

The statute of limitations doesn't apply if you failed to show up for court. An easy way to check this is by calling the 48th District Court to see if they have a record of you, or you can visit a Secretary of State office to ask if you still have a driver's license. If your license is OK then you have no worries.
If not, then there is a bench warrant out for your arrest. You should get this resolved or you'll face immediate jail if you get pulled over.
I've helped many in your situation stay out of jail.
