Is it illegal for a minor to help someone who is over 21 carry unopened alcohol from a parked car to their residence?

Yes. A minor cannot be in possession of alcohol - period. Possession means on their person, within their control, in their body, etc. However, if the minor is with a parent, they likely wouldn't get a ticket (and if they did it would likely be dismissed) - it would only be with friends, etc. No reason for a minor to "help" carry in alcohol when it is illegal.
