Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

License reinstatement after being susended for technically refusing the BAC test

I pleaded guilty to DUI and when I went to have my license reinstated I was informed that my license has been suspended for a year for techincally refusing the BAC. I work as a consultant and my job requires driving to different cities in IL. Is there anyway

1) I could get a restricted drivers license for Michigan?

2) Get a drivers license from a different state, possibly IL?

Thanks.

Re: License reinstatement after being susended for technically refusing the BAC

You (or your lawyer) may petition your county's circuit court for a restricted license (usually to and from work and in the course of your employment).
