minor in possession, michigan
My daughter, 20 3/4 just received a mip while being a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over because of suspected drinking. The driver and my daughter both received an alcohol test. The driver had not been drinking, but my daughter blew a .009. She received a ticket. What should she expect from the courts. She is a full time student and works full time.

She should expect to have her attorney work hard to keep her from having a criminal record for the rest of her life. If she wants an experienced, aggressive lawyer fighting to protect her, call

it is very important to keep any misdemeanor off your criminal record. I have been representing only criminal defendants for over 11 years. Contact me for a free phone consultation. www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz

Assuming she has no prior criminal history and a decent driving record, you should retain an attorney to ensure she gets the best deal possible - such as 6 months under advisement, so then it will not stay on her permanent record.
Please contact me to set up a consultation - I handle these all the time.
Thank you!
