My son [now 20] was given an MIP . He pleaded guilty at the arraingment/pre trial. Apparantly, the first offense can be struck from his record if he fufills the probation requirements. We did not retain an attorney[ we weren't thinking]. What are our options at this point? His sentencing date is late in August.

The maximum fine is $100 and it will be kept off his record if he can stay out of trouble during his probation. There are no viable options. Why would you want a different result?
