MIP - 20 year old son
My son has been charged with an MIP. He pleaded guilty at the arraingment/pre trial. The sentencing trial is scheduled in August. What are our options?

You should immediately retain a lawyer to assist you. You do not want this on your son's record. An attorney can negotiate with the prosecutor to undo the guilty plea and plead to a lesser charge, or have it taken under advisement so that it gets dismissed after X months if he stays out of trouble.
Please call me asap to discuss further.
Thanks.

You can retain an attorney at any stage in the proceedings. I see you left out the section about it being taken under advisement or deferred sentencing in your earlier post. Did you get this deal? Please contact me at www.kliszlaw.com for a free phone consultation on this matter. Tim Klisz

He has the option of hiring an attorney to try to un-do his silly mistake of pleading guilty at the arraignment / pretrial.
