First Offense OWI

I haven't gone to court yet for my first

offense OWI in Michigan I asked about

getting a 74-11 but my lawyer tells me

you can't get that for a drunk driving

offense is this true?

Yes.

MCL 333.7411 applies only to offenses related to illegal drugs or controlled substances.

Don't use your buddies' advice to second guess your lawyer.
