Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

Ouil

First offense for my daughter. Should she just plead guilty? She went on her own for the alcohol assessment test and it will be faxed to the court for her arraignment. Will she lose her license?

Re: Ouil

Do not plead guilty. There's a reasonable chance for plea negotiations to reduce fines, costs, and points on her license.

Re: Ouil

Please don't let your daughter plead guilty now. You have no idea whether she's guilty or not. She has MANY options available to her.

Re: Ouil

She should not plead guilty. Her license will be suspended for a minimum of 30 days and she'll be restricted for 150 more days.

I practice in Bay City occasionally. Give me a call sometime Monday for a free consultation.
