OWI Charge
Can I be charged with OWI when I wasn't driving or even in the car?
I had been drinking, but locked myself out of the car with it running and called the police for assistance. Instead got arrested.

The key is operating the vehicle. If you were in it with the keys and it was running, it could be operating under the law, technically. But, you might have a decent defense in front of a jury. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com. Tim Klisz
