Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

The scenario for my DUI is as follows:

Basically on October 15,2011 at 3:00 AM in the morning at the University Apartments Parking lot, moved the car from its parking spot to the sidewalk, where the pathway to one of the University Buildings are. I stopped the car there, and while I was there a University Police officer passed by while three of my friends where standing on the opposite side of the sidewalk, at the parking area leaning against my friends car. The officer passed by and decided to take a U-turn.

In the meantime, I have stepped out of my car and was chatting with my friends. So, the officer came back and asked all of use who's parked car it is, and I said it is mine. I told him that I have parked it there 45 minutes ago, and I came back from the University Apartments, to see my friends.

I also said I parked it that spot because the parking lot was full and that I am aware that I didn't park it properly.

He then asked to take a preliminary breath test, which I did and blew a 0.1283 however then I told him because I had a Sinusitis, Strep throat, and have Asthma which I do have but used it as an excuse to avoid the breath test.

He asked me to do a Field Sobriety Test, which I did but was shivering since it was very cold outside but believe that I did well in it.My friends are witnesses of what happened, but when asked by the officer separately they stated that I have moved that car from the parking to the sidewalk. Which I caused conflict in this story.

He took me to the main police station and asked to blow again, however I refused that sticking to my same claim.

Then, I was taken to the Hospital and got my blood drawn at 5am. After that, I was sent to jail where I had to stay for 12 hours because I refused the chemical test.

My license was confiscated, and have 14days now to request a hearing to secure my drivers license.

What is the best case scenario and worst case scenario that could happen to me?

How good is my case to have this reduced to a careless driving?

Will I actually loose my license when trying to appeal, if yes for how long?

Best case scenario is that you'd realize that you cannot get good legal advice on the web from lawyers that don't have all the facts in your case. You should immediately hire an expert attorney with a concentrated practice in drunk driving. Read more at:
