My son was arrested in June of 2010 for owi with a BAC of .17 The case has not been resolved yet, his scheduled court date in Nov 2010. I would like to know if he is convicted in Novembler, can the court implement the new High BAC crime (MCL 257.625(1) (c)) or would you have to be arrested after Oct 31, 2010 when the new law goes into effect.
