Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

Out of State Impaired Driving.

I have just recently been pulled over in MI and way arrested for drunk driving. Upon going to the hospital my blood work came back as a .089 alchohol level. I am a resident of California and still mantain my California drivers license. My question is, is this beneficiary to me at all, would I still be required to pay the Michigan Driver Responsibility Fees, even though I have never had a Michigan drivers license.

Re: Out of State Impaired Driving.

Yes, because you were driving in Michigan when the crime was committed, and thus you are subject to Michigan laws, including costs and fines that the courts may impose.
