Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Michigan

i am a contractor working under contract at another large company. This large company changed their point of contact who decided he did not want to work with me. My company told me i needed to transfer or go on unemployment. My company is stating i have to move to another state to continue to work for them. I do not want to move. Can I file for co-employment and require this company a reason why they do not want me there. I'm 53 and never had any other issues before.

Your employment is most likely at will. You can file for unemployment if they are requiring you to move. Cementing the reason for letting you go would be best thereby precluding their ability to later assert that the termination was for misconduct attributable to you.
