100 mile law

If I were to take my children over 100 miles away from my and my husbands current residence could I be charged with kidnapping? Can i file for custody in a diffrent city other then the one I live in.

You need to have permission from the court to move your children more than 100 miles from their other parent. Jurisdiction is proper in the county where you reside - or where the children reside - not any other county.
