Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
after 3 years together, my significant other( not married ) and i broke up almost a year ago...when she moved out of state she left things in this house ( that were hers when we met)...computures, beds, entertainment centers, refrigerators, freezers ect..6 months after the break up i was dumb enough to give her a second chance...6 months later, which brings us back to today, she is packing as i am typing this...but now she is taking all the things that she left behind before...she says that since she came back they are hers to take...is this true? or can those things be considered mine now and she has no right to take them...and if she does take them...can i get her for stealing...which i dont want to do...i just want to keep the stuff she did not want before...hope i choose the right lawyer for tis question with so many topics to choose from...

they never became yours and are legally still hers. I would just let things go and move on amicably. Trying to file lawsuits or police reports would be inappropriate in this kind of matter. Tim Klisz kliszlaw.com
