Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Ok so me and my ex had a very abusive relationship. I lost a baby before from the beatings and he strangled me when i was pregnant with our second child. Cops were called and they took pictures of my body and he was arressted. Now he is a felony domestic abuse and has another domestic abuse case yrs before this one from a different girl. He also been arrested multiple times for drugs and driving with no license. My son is now 2 and his dad never been around due to restraining order. Anyways the restraining order has ended and he is threatening to take me to court to get visitation and custody rights and im terrified. Even with supervision visits im worried my child will be in danger. I still have nightmares of him and go to councling for it all. Does he have any leg to stand on? I know he paid his fines off, has had a new job for a month now and just got his driver license back. So he is doing better for himself but my issue is i dont think my child will be safe.

If he goes to court for parenting time, your lawyer will work with the judge to figure out whatever is in the boy's best interest.
