Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Being taken advantage of
can a boyfriend ask you to marry him buy you a diamond, take you out house shopping, buy you a ticket to vegas for a vacation lead you on to believe your future is with himand then just out of the blue, one day on the phone he says, it won't work and he hangs up on you and won't answer your calls and then he calls his family and says its your fault and you won't leave him alone and he changes his phone number. Legally can he screw with you head like that? Also, he had a woman call the place of my employment and tell that I am a man stealer and that they better keep an eye on their husbands. He said in his mind if I lost my job I would have to depend on him. I did end up losing my job. But that was not the only reason. I believe that woman who called my office should pay for this. She had no right to call my office.

He's annoying, but not illegal.

Be happy that you at least escaped with a diamond and a Vegas vacation out the relationship! :-)
