Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

alienation of affection

I want to file for alienation of affection. I want to know if I can use this to change my sons legal name to mine. My sons father has disappeared and doesn't pay child support. He has had no contact with my son in almost two years. My son is Autistic and because of domestic violence I want to protect my son from his father. I am not sure of the laws or what is required of me to file. And because my son is on S.S.I. what would I have to endure as far as changing his name on all his paper work? I just want to know if legally I can change my sons last name without his father being presant or without his fathers signature? I know if I had contact with my sons father he would refuse to sign over his rights to his child even though I have soul legal custody. What advice can you give me to take proper legal steps if I infact can do this reguarding the laws in my state?
