Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Alimony and married over 20 years, how does it work?

My husband and I have married 23 years, we both good jobs and lost 2years ago, I went to work for a lot less money, we needed heath insurance. He has not worked and I found out from friends he does not plan to. I have lost all respect for him. He treats me terrible. my friends have all notice how worst he's gotten. Do I hasve pay him alimony and split my IRA and pension with him?

Greetings; The law does not specify who gets what or who pays who. This question is answered by a judge after he listens to all the facts and circumstances. You will need to hire a good attorney to ensure that the judge learns all the facts. Please give my secretary a call and set up a no charge, no obligation free consultation. Thanks, Atty.
