Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

annulment

I am curious if it would behoove one after a divorce has been granted to seek an annulment? Not only was the marriage a brief one after the divorce was granted he was taken to trial and the torture law in the state of Michigan was put in to law. Credit fraud charges were committed before and during the marriage, the man will not face any charges on fraud because no one will charge him with that because of the long sentences he is serving with 17 cases of a vulnerable adult, 1 kidnapping charge. I am looking for the best solution not only for the credit fraud he committed under my name but if it would not be entirely wise to void him from my life altogether?

Re: annulment

You can't normally get an annulment after you've been divorced.

Re: annulment

Once the divorce is done, you can't get an annulment. The remainder of issues will have to be solved in the civil system. They may not prosecute him but as long as police report is on file and you send it to the credit agencies, they should remove a lot of the problems.
