Re: annulment

You file for an annulment the same way that you would file for a divorce. You must file a complaint, pay the filing fee, have the summons served, etc. You take the judgment just like doing a divorce. The grounds are very narrow. No sex and material misrepresentation. I've been practicing 30 years and have only seen one granted. What I normally do is ask for an annulment and alternatively, ask for a divorce in the event the annulment is denied. William S. Stern
