My divorce decree stated that my daughter was to be the beneficiary of x-husbands life insurance. He has passed away,, She has not had communication with him for a few years, he was remarried, how does she find out if this still stands?

That is why most judgments require the person with the life insurance to provide proof to the ex-spouse, so that you know the insurance company, etc. I understand that there are some companies who somehow search for insurance policies. Perhaps you can find one on the web. William S. Stern
