Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Bought house with boyfriend, want out.

So I bought a house with my boyfriend, with both our names on it, but now we've split up. He wan'ts to keep the house, because he invested money in it, but he can't refinace it on his own, because he has no job, and wont get one. I can't move out with my name still on this house. What can I do?

You can petition a court to force a sale using partnership principles. However, it could cost you some money due to attorney fees, costs and the fact that the economy stinks for house sales. William S. Stern
