change name on birth certificate wrong fathers name on it
the purpose of this question is to get our son,s fictious name changed (which I made up), when he was born. reason to protect his natural father, whom was married at the time.. (I was divorced.) My son is full grown now, both he and his natural father is in agreement with this arrangment.
What procedure should I follow to accomplish this end.

Just file a petition for a name change with the probate court for the county in which your son lives. William S. Stern

Your son must petition the family court for a change of name. Criminal background checks are required, and there are additional steps that must be taken with the State of Michigan.
