Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Changing FOC locations?
I know to change FOC locations, I need to petition the court.
Do I go to FOC to get the petition or do I need to go to the court building?
Next Question is how likely is it that I can get it changed?
My ex has not seen our son for 11 months, moved twice that I know of (We do not know where he is currently living).
Our case is in the county that we lived in when we divorced, And I relocted to the county where my family lives, it's over an hour drive to get to the FOC we currently are with.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Changing FOC locations?
Basically, you just get the format from forms available at the local bar library. It may cost you a $20 motion fee. The clerk may tell you how to get it motioned up for the proper date. You should have the request granted. Bill Stern
