Changing nane

Can my sons mother change his last name to mines if i dont okay it or if i didnt sign the birth certificate or affadavit?

Yes, if she is her son's legal guardian, she can petition the court for a name change without your consent. Are you the father and have you established paternity? If you are the father, then you have rights, and can oppose it and/or attend the hearing on her petition to change the name. If you have not established paternity yet, it is a little different, but then again, if she is trying to change the son's last name to yours, then it sounds like she is not disputing paternity.
