Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

child abuse law

I have been accused of child abuse and neglect, which I tried to get expunged. I believe I ahve been falsely accused. I need to know how many years does this stay on your record or when it goes off? I am going to school to get a teaching degree and I need to know this so I can further my education. If this goes off I may have a chance of keeping on with my education that I know and Love. I told them that I was doing this and I feel they denied me just because I wanted to do this so bad.

Re: child abuse law

If you have only one conviction on your record, and more than 5 years have past, you may be able to get it expunged. For such an important issue in your life, get a lawyer. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
