Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

child conceived out of wedlock(paternity for alleged parties).

I am trying to determine if I am legally bound to pay

for a paternity test of a child who already has a legal father, and was conceived outside of his marriage with his spouse and myself; judge says it is out of his jurisdiction to order one. All three parties live in different counties, her attorney tells me I have to pay for this, and send her the money, made out to the corp. that provides the tests.

judge does want paternity established before he grants them a divorce.
