Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

child custody

I know someone whose children were taken from her for sexual abuse in the household. She said that her husband was the blame, but the courts found out it wasnt him and still would not give the kids back to her. She didnt say if she was a suspect. She is not with her husband anymore and is preganant with another child that the state of michigan wants to take. She said that her attorney told her to run to another state because they could not take her child if she did. Is this illegal, and if so how much trouble can she get in? Will I get in trouble if I help her establish herself where she is.

It's not illegal for your friend acting in Michigan, and may be a great idea.

As for your actions, only a lawyer in your state will know the legality of actions in your state.
