Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child Custody

My daughter's father took her while I was sleeping, and gave me no information on their whereabouts. I just found out they moved out of state to Wisconsin (I live in Michigan). We have never been married, and no legal custody has been established. He is on the birth certificate, but has never has paternity established. What should I do? What are my rights?

Re: Child Custody

Your going to have to get your daughter back to Michigan ASAP. If your daughter has resided in the State of Wisconsin for more than 6 months, the father could file for custody in the State of Wisconsin making your custody situation all the more difficult. Contact an experienced attorney right away.
