we are trying to get custody of my girlfriends grandchild due to her mother leaving her with someone who is know to have drugs in thier possession and has been known they can not be trusted around a baby . Due to the uses of alchol and drugs

you will need to retain a family law lawyer to file the appropriate petitions for you to obtain guardianship of the minor child. the petition needs to be filed in the county where the minor child currently resides. if you need a referral, please let me know. thanks.
