Child custody issues

My sons father dislikes my fiance. He is constantly trying to make trouble for us via our son. Ny fiance has my permission to discipline my son via time out or spanking his hand. My sons father said he is going to report the spanking to authorities. Is there something that can negatively happen to my fiance or my custody situation as a result of his problem with another man disciplining our son?

Nobody should discipline a child other than a parent. Physical discipline is generally disfavored.
